The 2025 Concord Reads program, featuring Ty Gagne and his book Where You'll Find Me, wrapped up on April 24, with a terrific sold-out author event!
Thank you to CPLF volunteers and Concord Public Library staff, and the hundreds of library enthusiasts who read Ty's books and participated in the many programs related to Where You'll Find Me. Most of all, thanks to Ty Gagne, who has written three (so far!) riveting books and who was an excellent guest throughout a busy day of events in Concord.
The morning of his Concord Reads day, Ty (in vest) visited Concord High School, where more than 300 students attending his powerful, emotional talk, "Weathering the Storm." Before and after his presentations, Ty took the time to chat with current students and checked out some projects related to their class reading of his book, The Last Traverse. Over several weeks, Media specialist Crystal O'Brien (second from left) created a library display to encourage students to check out one of Ty's titles, and English teachers Heidi Crumrine and Matt Skoby (at right) planned Ty's visit to CHS.
